Mingling Bodies

"Skin is not only an envelope protecting our inner body, or a membrane that allows exchange between exterior and interior of the body. It also serves as a mingling point between outer world and inner self, and between body and soul." -Miro Kim

I stumbled across this quote a few months ago and really wanted to create a work of art that I thought best represented it. The images are simple and soft, in hopes to see the real beauty among them. 

River Valley: Mother's Day

I had the privilege of shooting River Valley's Mother's Day worship and sermon. There was so much overwhelming life and love in one building that it just made my heart happy! River Valley is a very special place and glad to call it home every Sunday.

The great thing about new friends is that they bring new energy and joy to your soul. One of the best aspects of being a photographer, really is the joy of meeting new people and hearing stories about their life and capturing their personalities in a photo. 


Searching for light

Spent the afternoon wandering Minneapolis with Kyle, Tyler and myself searching for the perfect light, the kind of light that hugs your body, or the kind that splits you open like a knife. We started out at one of the studio spaces in Northeast and then traveled underneath the 35W bridge.
